The Middle States Association (MSA) is the organization that will be evaluating our school and providing the accreditation.
Accreditation encourages and facilitates school improvement. This process involves the development and the successful implementation of a plan for growth and positive change within the school. Also, accreditation places additional value on our high school diploma.
The high school was last accredited is 1990-1991. This accreditation has expired. As a result, we are pursuing accreditation again.
Association. Then, we will write action plans as to how to best carry out these objectives over the next several years.
The Planning Team will write 2-4 goals/objectives for the school. They will also develop action plans for each goal. Finally, a visiting team from MSA will evaluate our high school. Part of the success of Accreditation for Growth is the involvement of the whole community. There are many ways that you can become involved. First, please be aware of any information you may receive from the school regarding accreditation. Share this information with other people whom you come in contact. Also, talk to your high school student about this process. Finally, if you would like to become more involved please contact one of the internal coordinators.
